Build Process

Step 1 - Detailed client briefing
We meet and discuss your ideas, budget and investigate the site to talk over your building possibilities.

Step 2 - Designing your home
Put your ideas and thoughts to paper.We recommend the draftsman or architect that we think is most experienced to fulfil your needs. We then work as a team to give you the very best in design service.

Step 3 - Quotation
Prepare a budget estimate for you to check against your budget and plans.

Step 4 - Acceptance
Discuss any changes and provide you with a fixed price and gain your approval to proceed with Contracts.

Step 5 - Sign Contracts
HIA Building Contract is drawn up stating construction time frame, fixed price and particulars of the build for you to review and sign.

Step 6 - Commence Construction
We organise all Insurances, Permits and reports necessary to commence the project. Construction commences on agreed date.  Our specialist team will liaise with you through the entire project. Regular site meetings and continual progress reports via phone and email  ensures you stay involved and up to date.

Step 7 - Handover
Carry out detailed inspection of works with you for final acceptance and occupation.

Step 8 - Maintenance Period
Attend to any issues or any rectification works that may be required during the defects period.
